Schuylerville CSD Unified Sports to begin in April
Unified Sports will promote social inclusion and offer athletic and competitive experiences at a regional level. The basketball team will play four home and four away games throughout the month of April. Click here to read more.

District launches Universal Prekindergarten program for Sept. 2023
The program that will be provided by the Saratoga Regional YMCA and housed at Schuylerville Elementary School, and will be fully funded, year-to-year, by a non-competitive, federal grant. Pre-registration will be Feb. 27-April 7.

Varsity cheerleading team 2023 Division 2 Large Squad Sectional Champions
The team will compete in the state championship March 4 at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, NY.

8th grade students earn top spots in Lions Club Peace Poster Contest
An international initiative, Lions Clubs around the world sponsor an annual art contest in schools and youth groups.

Girls ski team finishes second overall at Section 2 championship
In addition, Taylor Dennis qualified for the Alpine Skiing State Championship, which will be held on Feb. 27 and 28.

Elementary Life Skills students raise $1,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
The money was raised through a Valentine’s Day community project, during which 500 stuffed red roses were carefully packaged and delivered to students throughout the elementary school.

Girls indoor track & field athletes named 2022 Section 2 champions
Schuylerville High School girls indoor track athletes bested 14 teams in Division III Sectionals, winning 7 of the 16 events. Click here for more on the sectional individual champions.

Food Service Dept. launches “Free Fridays”
Due to an excess of Supply Chain Assistance Funding, the district will be able to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students in grades K-12 every Friday through the end of the school year, beginning Friday, Feb. 10.
