Schuylerville launches Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative
To begin, the district will be recognizing National Hispanic Heritage Month, spanning Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. The month honors the cultures and contributions of Americans who identify as Hispanic or Latino/Latina/Latinx, as well as how those communities have influenced and contributed to the American society at large.

Surprise military homecoming from Class of 2019 graduate
Private First Class Justin Decker returned home to surprise his younger brother, sixth grade student Bradley Decker at Black Horse Stadium. This was PFC Decker’s first time home since leaving for bootcamp on Nov. 16, 2020.

Memorial rock honoring longtime Board of Education member Mike Booth unveiled
Mr. Booth was a board member for 18 years and passed away in 2019 from pancreatic cancer. During his tenure, he was a champion for students, and was known for his passion, advocacy and pride for the district.

Schuylerville High School welcomes freshman students
The full-day program included a visit from Sweethearts & Heroes, a national program that educates youth on the impact of bullying, builds empathy and compassion while developing young leaders.
