District’s backpack program taking requests for the new school year
Every Friday, students whose families are in need confidentially take home a backpack with breakfast, lunch, and dinner supplies for the weekend. Click here for more information.

Schuylerville continues its farm to school program for 2022-23
For the third year, the district qualified for the 30% New York State Initiative. Under this competitive program, schools that purchase at least 30% of their lunch foods from within New York qualify for additional state funding for their farm to school program.

Schuylerville FFA wins NYS horse evaluation competition, heads to nationals in October
For the second year in a row, Schuylerville students won the state competition and will be representing NY at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana in October.

Students raise more than $8K for Ronald McDonald House Charities
During its Read for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region initiative, $8558.97 was raised, placing Schuylerville in the top six contributors out of all participating Capital Region area schools. Click here to read more.

District named 2022 NYSPHSAA School of Excellence
To earn the award, 75 percent of a school’s varsity teams must qualify and receive the Scholar-Athlete team award.
