Schuylerville’s BackPack Program receives $1,500 donation
The donation came from the BackPack Heroes Program, sponsored by the Regional Foodbank of Northeastern NY, Fidelis Care, and CBS6. This year’s campaign raised funds that were dispersed among 50 BackPack programs in the Capital Region.

2023 Jingle Bell Shop raises more than $3K
Every class in the elementary school visited the Jingle Bell Shop in a three-day span. Profits will be given to Schuylerville’s Caring and Sharing Program and Mehan’s Kindness Closet.

Unified Sports program expands to include bowling
Students in grades 9-12 are eligible to be players or partners; matches will begin in February and be played at regional bowling alleys.

Schuylerville three-sport senior athlete named Heisman scholarship winner
Anika Buff earned a spot on the varsity teams of soccer, basketball, and lacrosse all four years of high school, while maintaining academic excellence.

2023 Grandparents’ Breakfast event serves 684 meals
In addition, the Elementary School Advanced Band, supported by Mrs. Scales and Mr. Tucker, shared their musical talent with students and families.

2023 fall sports scholar athlete recognition
All nine Schuylerville CSD fall sports teams achieved Scholar-Athlete team recognition. To earn this honor, a team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.0.

14 students represent Schuylerville at Area All-State NYSSMA Festival
Schuylerville students were members of the band, symphony, and mixed choir.

Schuylerville turf field reopens Nov. 20
With the turf installation completed and a GMAX test conducted, Black Horse Stadium has been cleared to reopen for physical education classes, athletics, and games.
