Schuylerville High School track and field athletes Meaghan Lynch and Levi Michaud have qualified for the NYSPHSAA State Championships, which will be held June 13 and 14 at Webster Schroeder High School in Webster, NY.
Lynch qualified in both the long jump and triple jump after winning both events. She recorded a jump of 18 feet, 2 inches in the long jump and 37 feet, 6.75 inches in the triple jump.
Michaud qualified in the high jump after clearing 6 feet and placing third. He advanced to states after previously meeting the at-large standard with a jump of 6 feet, 3 inches at the Schuylerville Classic.
Michaud also set a new outdoor school record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.98 seconds!
