Lynch will compete in the long jump and triple jump and Michaud will compete in the high jump on June 13 and 14.

The team will compete in the semi-finals on June 11 at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex.

Lynch won three Section 2 titles and set a Section 2 and school record, while Michaud captured two sectional championships.

The intent to play list is generated in order to gather information for coaching, nursing, and administrative staff. The official sign-up will be opened 30 days prior to the start of the sports season.

To earn this honor, a team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.0.

Competing against some of the nation’s top athletes, Lynch secured the Long Jump title during her sixth and final attempt, soaring 20’ 3” to win the event.

VanVeghten, a quarterback and defensive back, was honored at a luncheon with athletes from every Section 2 school.

The honor comes after Lynch’s record-breaking season and a repeat state championship in long jump.
