Standout track and field athlete, Meaghan Lynch, closed out the outdoor season with a performance at the New York State Championships, earning the Class C title in the Long Jump. Her jump of 20 feet, 0.75 inches, set both a new personal best and a school record in the event. Lynch’s record-breaking jump also earned her 2nd place overall in the Federation, which combines the best athletes across all school divisions in New York State.

Lynch also placed 7th in the Triple Jump and 9th in the 100m dash among Class C NYSPHSAA competitors. Her performance in the 100m was another milestone moment: she broke the school record with a time of 12.36 seconds in the finals.
“A multi-event powerhouse, Lynch’s achievements this season reflect not only her talent but her relentless drive and dedication,” said varsity outdoor track and field coach, Kim Duncan. “As a state champion, school record holder, and one of the top track athletes in all of New York, she has undoubtedly left her mark.”
