Humanitarian aid drive for Ukraine results in large school community effort
In just one week’s time, boxes of donations that filled an 18-foot truck were collected, sorted, packed and transported to the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Watervliet.

2022-23 budget proposal adopted by Board of Education
The $38.6 million proposed budget calls for a 1.50% spending increase and an estimated tax levy increase of 1.32%. State aid projections provide the ability to keep the district’s tax levy below the allowable tax cap of 3.6%. Click here to read more.

Ukraine humanitarian aid drive: March 14-18
The donations collected at Schuylerville CSD will be transported to the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Watervliet; from there the items will be packed and shipped to the refugee camps at the Poland-Ukraine border, as well as to cities in western Ukraine.

Three middle school mathletes compete in state competition
Ethan Meskill, Charles Hughes, and Michael Becker competed at the State Mathcounts Competition Series, led by middle school teacher Erica DiLello.

Owen Sherman selected to Section 2, Class B all-tournament team
Congratulations to Schuylerville High School senior, Owen Sherman, who was selected to the Section 2, Class B all-tournament team. For the 2021-22 season, Sherman was a starting guard/forward and led the team in scoring, averaging 18.1 points per game. Sherman was also in the top 20 in Section 2 for 3-point field goals made.
