Congratulations to Schuylerville High School senior Liam Armstrong, who was selected to the 2021 New York State Boys Small School All-State 5th Team for boys soccer.
Armstrong finished his high school career starting 73 games, having scored 30 goals and registering 22 assists. He was a key contributor to the 2019 Final Four team and the 2021 Foothills Council Champion team. Armstrong was also named to the Foothills Council first team the past two years.
“Liam developed into quite a leader for us,” said Schuylerville High School Boys Varsity Soccer Coach, Dave Gauci. “He was a major component in providing the program with some special moments throughout his career. Liam has one of the best work ethics I’ve ever seen on the field. He will be greatly missed.”
