Congratulations to the talented Schuylerville High School music students who participated in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Solo Festival, performing both instrumental and vocal solos.

A special congratulations to Jason McCaughey, who earned a perfect score of 100 on his All-State Vocal solo!
Tazio Helmig made school history by performing five solos over two weekends—Level 4 Timpani, Level 5 Marimba and Jazz Drum Set, and All-State level Snare Drum and Voice. He earned perfect scores of 100 on the Jazz Drum Set, Snare Drum, and Voice—an unprecedented achievement for a Schuylerville student!
Additional students also performed solos ranging from Levels 2 to 6, demonstrating the depth and dedication of Schuylerville’s music program. The students study under Mr. Michael Craner and Mrs. Jodi Ogburn.
