Chuck Barss was recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense with the Patriotic Employer Award, presented through the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) program.

Families can access photos via the district Facebook page that were taken in all three school buildings on the first day.

The census will identify children ages 0–4 who live in the district, but are not yet enrolled in school.

Taxes can be paid by mail or online beginning Sept. 2. Taxes can also be placed in the drop box located in the high school main lobby between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Due to a late requirement from the New York State Education Department, all school districts must revise their plans to incorporate a new cardiac arrest annex law.

Students toured the high school, learned about pathways to graduation, and heard a powerful message from guest speaker Brandon Lee White, an author and nationally recognized motivational speaker.

Schuylerville High School currently ranks in the top 10% in the nation, top 15% percent in the state, and the top 10% in the region.

In response to the new, New York State law restricting student cell phone use during the school day, Schuylerville CSD has created Board Policy 7316 to clearly outline the implementation in schools.

The honor is one of the highest recognitions an FFA member can achieve, with finalists representing the top four students in the entire country in their respective areas.
