2022-23 District-Wide Safety Plan public hearing to be held Aug. 29
The district’s safety plan is updated annually, posted for 30 days prior to the public hearing for review, and then adopted by the Board of Education. Click here to review a draft copy of the plan.

2022-23 free and reduced-price meal applications
The USDA waiver allowing all meals in schools to be served at no cost will expire in September, 2022. Breakfast and lunch will still be available to all students; however, they will not be free for all students. Click here for more information.

Class of 2022 graduate a Capital District Sports Women of the Year scholastic award recipient
Sadie Tavares will be among 10 high school and three college female student-athletes who will be honored at an August 8 event.

Daryl Headen named Times Union All-Star
Congratulations to Daryl Headen, a 2022 Times Union All-Star for Track & Field, High Jump. Headen won the Section II title at Group 3 championships before going on to win the Division II title at the state qualifier. He finished sixth in the Federation championship.

Mr. Jim Burkett to fill one-year Board of Education vacancy
Mr. Burkett will serve on the board until the next annual election of board members in May of 2023.
