Pesticide products are applied periodically throughout the school year at Schuylerville CSD, requiring a 72-hour closure of the treated areas. Collins Turf Services, LLC will be on campus to apply grub control to all playing fields on Friday, July 3. Last fall, the district completed an emergency pesticide application after a significant grub infestation caused damage to several playing fields. This upcoming application is a planned follow-up treatment designed to reinforce last fall’s efforts and eliminate any remaining grubs.
