Dear Schuylerville families,
I’d like to provide an update in regard to the district’s elementary school principal search, as we work towards hiring a new leader for our K-5 students, faculty and staff. An Elementary Principal Search Committee has been established in an effort to encompass the voices and perspectives of our entire school community as we move forward and make this important administrative hire. 8 principal candidates will be interviewed by the below committee:

Hiring Timeline
Below is the established timeline:
- Advertising for the position: concluded on Feb. 22
- Administrative review of applications: Feb. 24
- Candidate interviews with Elementary Principal Search Committee: March 6
- Finalist interview with the Board of Education and Superintendent: March 23
- Board of Education Appointment: April 13
- Anticipated start date: July 1
