Board appoints Dr. Ryan Sherman permanent Superintendent of Schools
The Board accepted the resignation of Gregg Barthelmas, effective June 25. Dr. Ryan Sherman will serve as the superintendent with a five-year contract, effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2029.

The 78th Schuylerville High School Commencement Ceremony was held on Monday, June 24 in celebration of the Class of 2024. 130 diplomas were awarded at graduation.

The Class of 2024 graduation ceremony will be moved to the second rain date of Monday, June 24th at 7:30 p.m. in Black Horse Stadium. If weather looks to be an issue for Monday evening, the ceremony will still occur, but will be held inside in the high school auditorium,

High school mosaic project to be installed at Schuylerville’s Hudson Crossing Park
The subject of the mosaic is the history of the Champlain Canal, and will feature three walls each depicting the rich history of agriculture, industry, and the canal barges.

June 26 calendar update
The last day of school for students in grades K-8 is Wednesday, June 26 and will be a half-day.

May 24 lead testing results
A total of 133 locations were tested in May in the elementary, middle, and high school. Seven fixtures in six locations were positive for lead; all of these locations are not areas students use for drinking.
