39th annual Capital Region Students and Teachers Who Make a Difference
Capital Area School Development Association (CASDA)’s annual recognition program honors outstanding graduating seniors from high schools throughout the region and their teachers. Congratulations to senior Holly Price and Schuylerville High School teacher Michael Craner.

Schuylerville senior honored for firefighting excellence
This year, Sierra Fountaine was voted in as second lieutenant, and received a NYS Assembly Citation presented by Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner in May.

Varsity boys lacrosse teams wins Section 2 Class D title
The team finished its regular season with a record of 17-1. They will play in the regional finals game on Saturday, June 7 at 12:30 p.m. at Lynch Literacy Academy in Amsterdam.

Class of 2025 Top Graduates
The Top Graduate recognition honors the hard work and achievement of graduating students with an average of 96 or higher, and is released in June each year. There are 23 Class of 2025 students that fall under this ranking.

Junior Meaghan Lynch breaks multiple school records during 2025 outdoor track season
Lynch broke three school records, one of them being more than three decades old.

Fall 2025 athletics: intent to participate
The intent to participate is open through June 13 for all levels of sports.

May 28 emergency closing: water main break
Grades 6-12 will be dismissed at 9:10 a.m. and grades K-5 will be dismissed at 10:00 a.m.

High school students perform at the NYSSMA Solo Festival; nine perform at the All-State level
Jason McCaughey earned a perfect score of 100 on his All-State Vocal solo and Tazio Helmig made school history by performing five solos.
