Life Skills students deliver 961 holiday gifts to elementary students

Life Skills students host Jingle Bell Shop

Schuylerville Elementary School’s Life Skills students hosted their 2021 merry and jolly Jingle Bell Shop, providing an opportunity for students in grades K-5 to order items for holiday gift giving. In total, orders were taken for 961 gifts! They were sorted, fulfilled and delivered to classrroom doorways by the four students in Amy Jordan’s class.

“Since we are such a small class, I always look for ways for my students to socialize with their peers,” said Mrs. Jordan. “The Jingle Bell Shop really made them feel part of the school community. We were welcomed by every single class and it was really wonderful.”

Along with providing enriching learning opportunities for the students in Mrs. Jordan’s class, profits from the Jingle Bell Shop will support community life skills activities and Schuylerville CSD’s Caring & Sharing program.
