The Schuylerville Elementary School Annual Fundraiser is underway, with a 2023 theme of Grand Land Adventures! Please register your child on the FunRun link and start seeking pledges for the Fun Run event to be held Friday, May 19 (rain date Monday, May 22). Money raised by this year’s Fun Run will go directly back to the students and the school, and be used to support playground improvements. In the past, proceeds have been used to support Arts in Education programs and assemblies, student clubs, “Dollars for Scholars” scholarship fund, and extra classroom supplies. In addition, two years ago, the Fun Run raised enough to purchase the pendulum swing on the playground, money to help beautify the Elementary school courtyard, and a giant aquarium in the Student Services office.
Fun Run Details
The 2023 Fun Run will be held on Friday, May 19 on the field behind the playground. All students will participate during special area class time with their respective special area teacher. All special area teachers will record laps for students under their supervision. The rain date will be Monday, May 22. This is not a family event, however we will be sure to capture the fun for all to view! Staff and students are encouraged to wear their fun run shirts for the event.
