2023 Summer Reading & Math Challenge Recognition

2023 summer reading and math recognition

At the end of the 2022-23 school year, students in grades K-5 received a “tracker” worksheet with their end-of-year-report cards, with spots to color for every 15 minutes of reading and math practice they completed. The goal is to encourage students to keep their skills fresh and set themselves up for a strong start to the new school year. More than 60 elementary students participated.

During a recognition ceremony, students were given certificates and trophies by Principal Marzullo, Dean of Students Gwyn Reeves, and School Library Media Specialist Maria Weeks. In addition, students who participated in both the reading and math portion of the challenge were entered into a raffle for a Northshire Bookstore gift card, generously donated by Parents as Education Partners (PEP).

Congratulations to all!
