BOE President sends letter to NYS Governor & Health Commissioner

Board of Education President Michael Bodnar sent a letter Feb. 18 to NYS Governor Hochul and NYS Department of Health Commissioner Mary Bassett, conveying frustration with the lack of details or specifics regarding data points they intend to use to lift the mask mandate in schools. The district has been advocating for concrete measures and metrics, or a date-specific mandate removal for schools, knowing this information would be very helpful for the community to have.
