Schuylerville Elementary School’s Life Skills students hosted their 2023 Jingle Bell Shop, providing an opportunity for students in grades K-5 to order items for holiday gift giving. Every class in the elementary school visited the Jingle Bell Shop in a three-day span, and every day the shop sold out! Amy Jordan’s students participated in production, inventory, customer service, stocking, re-stocking, sales, and bagging.
“Our community is always so supportive,” said Amy Jordan. “The children love the element of surprise for their families and friends. Plus, it gives them some ownership of gift-giving. That’s the spirit of the season!”
$3,116.52 in profits from the Jingle Bell Shop will be given to Schuylerville’s Caring and Sharing Program and Mehan’s Kindness Closet. Thank you to our students for their tremendous efforts!
