For the 2023-24 school year, Schuylerville has three emergency days built into the school calendar. The first two snow days will be traditional snow days; if the district needs to use a third (or more than three) day(s), they will be virtual learning snow days, grades K-12. This planning process will allow for one day to be reserved and added to the Memorial Day holiday weekend at the end of May. This plan also allows for the April spring break to remain intact in its entirety, regardless of the number of snow days needed this year.
As we progress through the winter season and if a virtual learning day may need to be used, more information and details will be sent to families about the format, broken down by grade level.
