During the 2022 5th Grade Moving Up Celebration, Elementary School Principal Beckett bid farewell to students with words of encouragement, as Middle School Principal Elsworth welcomed them into the next chapter. Students paraded through the halls as their families waved and looked on, received a present from Parents as Education Partners (PEP), and then enjoyed a treat from Kona Ice.
“This is a big event and an important milestone,” said Principal Beckett. “My wish for each child as they move into the middle school years and become young adults, is they find a way to lead with their own personal strengths.”
“These children have so much to look forward to,” added Principal Elsworth. “In middle school, there are brand new opportunities for them in extracurriculars, athletics, and developing strategies for being successful in life. Seeing our children grow and become who they are is our greatest joy as parents and grandparents.”
