At this time, all individuals who need to quarantine have been contacted.
The district has learned that a Schuylerville Elementary School staff member tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member was last in school on Dec. 21; five faculty/staff members and three students have been quarantined as a result of the positive case.
Elementary music teacher Christopher Tucker joined each classroom via Google Meets, performing various holiday songs in the same spirit as he has for years.
The district has learned that a fully remote Schuylerville student tested positive for COVID-19 on Dec. 23. Since the student has not had any school exposure, there will be no resulting student or staff quarantines per the Department of Health.
Every week during the school year, the credit union honors local educators and school employees for their outstanding efforts highlighted through nominations from the community.
The student’s last day in school was Dec. 16; four staff members have been quarantined as a result of the positive case.
Due to an increase in cases and the resulting quarantines of students and staff, the middle school and high school will be fully remote starting Monday, Dec. 21 through Wednesday, Dec. 23.

The volume of snow received overnight has made it extremely difficult to open. Governor Cuomo has declared a state of emergency in 18 counties, with Saratoga County included.
