Schuylerville Elementary’s kindergarten class is a recipient of Northshire Bookstore’s Book Angel program this year. Book Angels is a tradition started in Manchester Center, VT years ago and has become a community-wide effort to put books into the hands of elementary school children. Customers selected a Book Angel from the holiday tree in the Saratoga Springs store and purchased a book or made a monetary donation to the program.
Since the program’s inception in 2013, it has brought more than 2,800 books to students in Saratoga county elementary schools, including Schuylerville.
