Varsity girls soccer wins a thriller vs. Hoosick Falls

In front of a standing room only crowd at Black Horses’ Stadium, the Schuylerville varsity girls soccer team defeated their non-league nemesis 3-2. Emily Vallee staked the home side to a 1-0 lead, with an assist from Emily Carlstrom. Falls answered back within minutes, and then took a 2-1 lead. Kaitlyn Congdon tied it up before half, with a 25 yard blast, on an assist from Amy Moreau. The Lady Horses stingy defense didn’t allow a goal in the second half, paving the way for Vallee’s game winner, her second of the night. Sara Baker earned the assist, while also contributing with eight saves.
