Varsity football players receive Class B honors

Six Schuylerville High School varsity football players are receiving Class B North honors. Senior quarterback Stratton Sherman was named Offensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row.

Teammates Paul Harshbarger (running back), Justin Carte (receiver), Dan Miller (lineman) and Jared Thivierge (lineman) were named to the first-team offense, while Jack Koval (lineman) and Jacob Vanderhoof (defensive back) were chosen for the first-team defense. Harshbarger, Carte, Thivierge and Vanderhoof are all repeat first-team recipients.

Six Schuylerville players are also being recognized as Honorable Mention: Noah Rourke (defensive back), Jack Nemer (offensive tackle), Evan Jeffords (defensive end), Charles Luzadis Jr. (defensive back), Colton Weatherwax Jr. (linebacker) and Caleb Max (linebacker).
