On Monday, September 12, 2016 students in all three buildings (Elementary, Middle and High School) will attend a presentation called “Sweethearts and Heroes” during the school day. The district will also be hosting a parent program at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium to encourage parents to become partners with us in promoting a school free from harassment and bullying.
Sweethearts and Heroes is an organization that believes in educating society about the impact that bullying has on all of our schools, our neighborhoods, and individuals. Through knowledge and communication, they are committed to bringing their message to individual communities – not only to help the victims, but especially to empower bystanders to make a difference.
Here is the schedule for Monday, September 12, 2016
- High School students- 8:00 a.m.
- Middle School students- 9:30 a.m.
- Grades K-2 students- 10:55 a.m.
- Grades 3-5 students-1:50 p.m.
- Parent Program- 7:00 p.m.
