Students repair car for local veteran

Schuylerville High School senior McKenzie DuFrain was among a group of students from across the region who helped restore a car for a local veteran. DuFrain, along with her classmates in the CTE Auto Body Repair program, performed final detail work to a 2015 Nissan Altima, using skills they acquired from the program. The students used buffers, polish and finishing glaze to make the car shine for its new owner, U.S. Army Veteran Shane Thompson of Delhi. The students were present on Nov. 13 as Thompson, along with two other veterans received restored cars. The program is a collaboration between Caliber Collision and GEICO.
