Students raise $5,000 for juvenile diabetes research

Students pose with banner during the Cure Day WalkSchuylerville Elementary School students have helped raise more than $5,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The JDRF Kids Walk program is an educational, in-school program with two goals; to educate students about type 1 and type 2 diabetes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and to provide them with an opportunity to make a difference. Students attended an assembly on May 9 and participated in the Cure Day Walk on May 23.
