Student pen pals meet face-to-face

Schuylerville Elementary School students in Barbara Nevins’ third grade class and Lisa Schwartz’s fifth grade class met their pen pals for the first time this month. Mrs. Nevins’ class met their pen pals from Burnt Hills at Shenantaha Creek Park in Malta, while Mrs. Schwartz’s class had their pen pals from Stillwater meet them at school. The students have exchanged letters throughout the school year and enjoyed meeting face-to-face to share lunch and talk in person.
