Student Council launches staff appreciation essay contest

The Schuylerville High School student council is launching an essay contest to honor a Schuylerville staff member who has made a difference on campus. Students interested in participating can submit an essay (250 words or less) sharing why a specific administrator, teacher or staff member deserves to be recognized, how that person has influenced your life and why you appreciate and admire them. Essays can be submitted anonymously from March 20-24 to a collection box located in the main office. The winning essay will be selected by student council and the winner will be announced and honored on May 4 at the Schuylerville Staff Appreciation event.
