Every week during the remote learning period, Schuylerville High School art teachers Su Luke and Kirt Winslow are posting pieces of artwork made by their students. The artwork covers a range of mediums, including:
- Digital Photography
- Drawing and Painting
- 3-D Design
- Studio Art
- Portfolio and Digital Drawing
Luke and Winslow’s efforts are a way for students to continue working on their skills and remain connected through a virtual display.
“The students need this creative aspect in their lives in a time like this,” said Winslow. “Art is a good meditative activity, as well as a way to express yourself.”
“The kids are being very resourceful and making the most of limited art resources available to them at home,” added Luke. “It is great to see their dedication continue outside of the classroom walls.”
