Senior places second at statewide SkillsUSA competition

A Schuylerville High School senior in the Career and Technical Education program, offered through BOCES, took second place in the Area State Skills Championships at the New York State Fairgrounds on April 25. Jasmine Sirois took part in the basic health care competition, after advancing through the regional competition in March.

SkillsUSA is a national organization that works to support middle, high school and college students who are preparing for careers in the trades and technical areas.
