Schuylerville High School’s agricultural classes and FFA Chapter saw success at the 12th Annual SUNY Cobleskill Agriculture and Natural Resources High School Day on Friday, Sept. 29. More than 30 Schuylerville students attended the event, which featured tours of animal barns, a walk-through fish hatchery and several demonstrations. Students were also given the opportunity to explore the college to see what it offers, should they decide to choose a career related to agriculture.
As part of the event, students showed off their skills during various agricultural competitions. Schuylerville had a dairy judging team place second. The team’s members were Adam King, Jack Koval, Lainey Koval and Matt Peck. Lainey Koval also placed first individually and received a plaque.
