Schuylerville dairy farmer helps athletes ‘Refuel with Chocolate Milk’

Dairy farmer at Class B championshipSchuylerville dairy farmer Neil Peck, of Welcome Stock Farm, presented a post-game trophy to the high school football team at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Class B Championship game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. In addition, he handed out chocolate milk to the student-athletes to help them refuel.

“Refuel With Chocolate Milk” is a campaign funded by dairy farmers through American Dairy Association North East (ADANE). ADANE’s sponsorship provides funding for all NYSPHSAA championships, chocolate milk for athletes after each event, and nutrition tips for coaches through monthly newsletters. ADANE promotes chocolate milk as the best way for athletes to refuel, with high carbohydrate, protein and water content. The organization supports schools in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
