Dear Schuylerville Families,
NYS Governor Cuomo has extended ‘New York on PAUSE” through April 29, which keeps schools and non-essential businesses closed through that date, citing public health as the state’s first and foremost concern. While schools will remain closed through April 29, educational material, meals, and childcare for essential workers must still be provided every weekday through that date.
Teachers will be providing learning material to students via the means that have been established so far (K-5 at-home learning packets and grades 6-12 online) for the weeks of April 13, April 20, and April 27. There will be no interruption to academic instruction as a result.
- At-home learning packets will be delivered to grades K-5 on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10 .
- Students in grades 6-12 will continue to access learning materials from individual teachers through online/virtual means.
- Any student in grades 6-12 who does not have WiFi in the home can request hard copies of all materials. Students in grades 6-12 should only be doing online work or hard copy packet work (not both.)
- Requests for grades 6-12 packet deliveries should be made by contacting the middle school main office (518-695-3255, ext. 2265) or the high school main office (518-695-3255, ext. 2232.) Please leave a voicemail by the end of the day, April 6.
