Schuylerville High School’s FFA club helped raise $750 for hurricane victims through its inaugural Pumpkin Palooza event. The event featured a pumpkin carving contest, a pie baking contest, face painting by the Schuylerville Art Club and snacks made by the Schuylerville Middle School FFA. In the carving contest, prizes were awarded for cutest, scariest, best-themed and funniest pumpkin. In the baking contest, the winner was, of course, a pumpkin pie. All of the money raised will go to an FFA chapter in Texas that was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey in August.
