Schuylerville High School junior Hannah Klingebiel is heading back to the State Alpine Skiing Championships for the third straight year, after she finished first in both Slalom and Giant Slalom at the Section II Alpine Skiing Championships at Gore Mountain on Monday, Feb. 11. She finished with a time of 1:11.73 in Giant Slalom, 0.92 ahead of the competition, and a time of 31.81 in Slalom, winning by .46 seconds. Klingebiel will compete in both events at the state championship meet on Feb. 25 & Feb. 26 at Gore Mountain. Last year, Klingebiel placed first in Slalom and ninth in Giant Slalom at the state championship meet.
