The Schuylerville boys and girls varsity soccer teams helped raise $1,300 for the American Cancer Society during the Kickin’ Out Cancer event Oct. 13.
The third annual fundraiser included basket raffles, pink balloon sales, a 50/50 raffle, a halftime walk and more. All of the proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society.
“It was a great night for a great cause,” Coach David Gauci said. “I am very proud of the student athletes for their dedication to this event.”
Gauci said he would also like to thank the OSAA players and parents, the Hooves Club and all of the modified, JV and varsity soccer teams who contributed to the success of the event.
