Dear grades K-5 parents/guardians,
Thank you for your patience, support, and respect of our practices and procedures during this challenging time. We have been sending students home each evening with all necessary items to support remote learning in the event we need to pivot suddenly. While COVID-19 is still very much present, we are currently seeing a decrease in the county’s infection rate. Knowing the toll the heavy bags have taken on our children, we are allowing students to keep items at school. Parents/guardians still have the option to have their child(ren) bring items home each evening if they wish. In the event a classroom or the elementary school must pivot to remote learning, we will allow families the opportunity to collect belongings in an organized fashion (which would be communicated at that time).
As always, feel free to reach out to me or your child’s teacher with any questions.
Sincerely,
Rose Beckett
Principal
