Schuylerville High School seniors who are interested in applying for the Excelsior Scholarship should be aware that the application for the 2018-19 academic year will open to new applicants on Monday, March 26 at 9 a.m. and closes on Monday, July 23 at 11:59 p.m.

In order to apply, students must meet eligibility requirements, including:

• Be residents of New York State
• Plan to attend a SUNY or CUNY college or university in pursuit of a two-year or four-year degree
• Have a family federal adjusted gross income of $110,000 or less
• Be on track to graduate on time with an Associate’s Degree in two consecutive years or a Bachelor’s Degree in four consecutive years

To complete the application, you will need:

• 2016 IT-201 NYS Income Tax Return(s) for you and your parent(s)
