High school recognized for student exchange program

Schuylerville High School is receiving recognition for its student exchange program. The Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE) and the U.S. Department of State recently recognized the school for “fostering intercultural understanding, friendship, and peace for future generations of global ambassadors.” This year, Schuylerville High School was the official Host School for Adhwaa Ibrahim Alabdulkarim, an 11th grader from Saudi Arabia. Adhwaa spent the entire school year at Schuylerville High School and was hosted by William and Erika Baker from Schuylerville.
