Grades 9-12 Open House: Sept. 21

Dear Schuylerville High School families,

I am excited to announce that our annual open house for students in grades 9-12 is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 21, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.  All guests in the building for open house will need to adhere to universal masking guidelines. The open house provides an excellent opportunity for you to follow your child’s daily class schedule, meet their  teachers, and learn about their academic program.  This year, we ask that students do not attend the open house event. We hope that you take advantage of this opportunity to become an active participant in your child’s academic success.

The open house will kick off at 6:00 p.m. with a brief orientation program in the auditorium.  At 6:15 p.m. you will begin to follow your child’s schedule with abbreviated periods as shown below.  We will follow an “A-day” schedule. During lunch and study hall periods, you are encouraged to visit our library, tour the building, or relax outside on the concession patio. Please bring your child’s schedule that was mailed home to the open house event.

Please see Tracy Lyon in Student Services to sign up. The cost for the PSAT is $18.00. Checks can be made payable to Schuylerville Central School and should be submitted when signing up for the test.

Our open house program is intended to provide parents/guardians with valuable information that will enable you to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote your child’s academic success.

We look forward to working with you as partners in this endeavor and encourage you to attend open house to kick off this joint venture.

Sincerely,
