Dear elementary families,
As we prepare to welcome our K-5 students to the 2020-21 school year, we want to make you aware of some transition opportunities. Our goal is to provide your child(ren) with a positive experience regardless of their learning model (in person or remote).
Below, you will find information regarding our Kindergarten In-Person Orientation, First Grade In-Person Meet & Greet, Grades 2-5 In-Person New Students to the District Orientation, and Grades 2-5 Virtual Meet & Greet.
Information is also included about remote learning packet pick up for all remote learners.

Students will arrive at the front of the elementary school building and must be wearing a mask. We will have a table designated for each teacher outside on the front lawn. As each student comes to the table, we will take their temperature. In addition to teacher tables, we will have a nurse’s table for families to visit if they choose as well as a school counselor table for families to visit. Each student will be provided with a welcome packet that will meet the needs of both in person and remote learners.
Each class will be split into two groups. One group will start in the classroom with the teacher while the other takes a bus ride. The groups will switch. Parents/guardians will need to wait outside or in their cars.
