Freshman class attends Career Jam

Student at Career JamSchuylerville High School freshmen had the chance to explore a number of career opportunities first-hand on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at TEC-SMART in Malta. It was all part of Career Jam, a hands-on event designed to engage and inform students of the many career possibilities in this region.

Nearly 50 employers representing 16 diverse “career clusters” provided interactive activities, as well as industry and company specific information to educate students about potential future careers and shape their educational goals accordingly. WSWHE BOCES partnered with the Saratoga Economic Development Corporation and the Saratoga-Warren-Washington Workforce Development Board to bring local employers and school districts together for the event.
