
Schuylerville High School freshmen had the chance to explore a number of career opportunities first-hand on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the Saratoga Springs City Center. It was all part of Career Jam a hands-on event designed to engage and inform students of the many career possibilities in the region.
60 local businesses provided interactive activities, as well as industry- and company-specific information to educate students about potential future careers. Career Jam is a partnership of the Saratoga-Warren-Washington Workforce Development Board, along with the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES and the Saratoga Economic Development Corporation (SEDC). More than 1,600 eighth and ninth grade students from around the region attended the event.
