Mrs. Miner teaches student about the MayflowerSchuylerville Elementary School fifth grade students had the opportunity to learn about the Mayflower from a local perspective. Donna Miner, a sign language interpreter in the elementary school, has relatives dating back to the 1600s, and gave students an inside look into her family history. Miner discussed generations of her family who served our country and showed students pictures dating back hundreds of years. After the presentation, students had the chance to ask questions and took a group photo with Miner.
