More than four dozen Schuylerville Elementary School students used their reading skills to help raise more than $4,500 for the Albany Ronald McDonald House.
The students participated in the “Read for Ronald McDonald House” program to help seriously ill children and their families. During the month of March, students asked family and friends to sponsor them for every minute they read.
This was the school’s second year participating in the program. Last year, students raised $4,465. Each student participant will receive a personalized certificate.
