Driver education meeting scheduled for June 13

Any Schuylerville High School student who plans to take driver education this summer is required to attend a meeting on Wednesday, June 13 at 7 p.m. in the high school chorus room. At the meeting, students will meet with the driver education instructors and select their driving slots for the summer. If for some reason a student is unable to attend the meeting, a parent must attend in his or her place.

Payment for driver education, in the amount of $300.00, will be due at this meeting. Checks should be made payable to Schuylerville Central School District.

Please note that driver education will run Monday through Friday, beginning on Monday, July 2, with an anticipated completion date of Friday, August 10. Please also note that attendance to all sessions is mandatory and students will not receive a driver education certificate if they have not completed all sessions. Students will only be allowed to miss a maximum of five sessions. Should a student miss a session, it will be the student’s responsibility to meet with his or her instructor to arrange for make-up time. If more than five sessions are missed, the student will be dropped from the program and no refund will be given.
